I adore goth music; with the exception of Tori, almost all of my favourite artists are classified in the genre or one of its many sub-genres (darkwave, ethereal, et cetera).

Most gothic music makes me salivate.

Still, I don't know how enjoyable a Gothic Music Forum would be. How many posters would be in there? Like, five?

in order to get the forum we need like 50 people voting one of the first 2 choices.. so at least 50 people would be there.. i know a lot of people who would like this.. i just haven't seen them on yet.. since i made this.. did you vote? we need votes!! :) i desperately want this forum. it'd be a hell of a lot more active than that courtney love/hole forum which has like hardly any posts in it. so try to get people to vote!! please please please!!! and yes.. brian molko is yummy.. my boyfriend introduced placebos music to me and i've been obsessed since :)

I would vote, but for the longest time I've been unable to participate in polls -- my actions are alway 'invalid,' if that's not an ego booster -- so I don't know how to assist in getting one, exactly.

You could direct someone to this post, I suppose, to let them know I support it. If we got one, I'd be there a great deal of the time... as long as the other posters have a base of goth music broader than those of the bands listed. My tastes run a bit more obscure.

And off-topic a bit, Placebo... *drool* I've loved them since their second -- and what I believe to be their best -- album was released. Black Market Music, though, is damn near orgasmic. I'd really love to trap Brian's voice in a box to keep beneath my pillow, so if anyone could assist me... :D

Anyhoo, whilst I'm not really goth at all anymore, I still enjoy most of the music. Goth artists I enjoy include NIN, Orgy *sort of counts*, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Funker Vogt, Apoptygma Berzerk
